Eid Milad-un-Nabi on September 17 |
Exciting news for the Islamic calendar!
The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee has just announced that the moon for Rabi-ul-Awwal wasn’t sighted. As a result, the Islamic month will start on Friday, September 6. This means that Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the joyous celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), will take place on September 17!
The announcement came after a thoughtful meeting led by Chairman Abdul Khabeer Azad in Islamabad. The committee worked diligently to ensure that the decision was made with careful consideration and in accordance with Islamic Law, relying on visual observations.
Eid Milad-un-Nabi, celebrated on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, is a time for Muslims around the world to honor the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with joy and reverence.
Mark your calendars and get ready for this special occasion filled with reflection, celebration, and community spirit!
